Numerical Simulation of flow in pipe with cross jet effects

A numerical method is developed to obtain two-dimensional velocity and pressure distribution through a cylindrical pipe with cross jet flows. The based on solving partial differential equations for the conservation of mass momentum by finite difference convert them into algebraic equations. This well-known problem used introduce basic concepts CFD including: finite- mesh, discrete nature solution, dependence result mesh refinement. Staggered grid implementation model used. set solved simultaneously “SIMPLE” algorithm within pipe. In order verify validity present code, flow behavior predicted this code compared these another studies there good agreement obtained
